Welcome to Mixabowl, a Korean fast casual spot located in the Promenade area of The Shops at Santa Anita. With a unique concept that allows customers to customize their own bowls or choose from signature dishes, Mixabowl offers a healthy and convenient dining experience.
One of the highlights of Mixabowl is their Chef's Choice bowl, which features bulgogi beef and kimchi pork, sesame peanut and Sriracha mayo sauce, fried egg, seaweed, corn, bean sprout, cucumber pickle, salad, and brown rice. This bowl has won the Best Korean BBQ Bowl of 2017 award and is packed with flavor.
Customers can also opt for the Create Your Own Bowl option, where they can choose their base, toppings, sauce, and protein. With a variety of options to choose from, including bulgogi, chicken breast, teriyaki chicken, kimchi pork, tofu, and mushrooms, Mixabowl offers something for everyone.
Although some customers have mentioned that they wish the quality of the meat was slightly higher, overall, the offerings at Mixabowl are satisfying and filling. The convenient location at the Santa Anita mall makes it a perfect spot to grab a quick and healthy meal while shopping.
Whether you're looking for a delicious and customizable meal or wanting to try out some Korean sizzling dishes, Mixabowl has something for everyone. Don't miss out on the opportunity to try their Chef's Choice bowl and experience a taste of Korean flavors in a casual setting.

So nice to have a healthy alternative that's also good tasting. Service is excellent and they put up with all my silly questions. The family running it is lovely and they have a heartwarming story on how there place came to be. Super relaxing location, lots of places to sit and relax, for a bite to eat or to go on the run. Highly recommend

Healthy options for lunch or dinner. Selected make your own bowl for lunch. Fresh carrots, broccoli, cilantro, corn, edamame, and chicken. Opted for the rice and salad regular bowl. Great customer service, pleasant lady who answered my questions. Down side to this location is that they are closing the business down. So sad.

When I heard the news about Mixabowl closing soon at the Santa Anita mall, it made me soooo sad. I made the drive back from OC to visit the nostalgic eatery that would be the spot for me and my friends to visit back then when I lived in the area. I got a customized bowl with brown rice, broccoli, edamame, beet, corn, and cucumber with bulgogi as the protein. Super yummy + healthy! I hope they're able to open back up one day!

Bummer. Good food. Decent service. Out in the promenade. Closing in July. Sorry to see it go.

Quick and easy place to get food at the mall. Healthy and affordable that will leave you full to shop at your leisure. You can build your own bowl like chipotle but with Korean meats and toppings. The bulgolgi is pretty flavorful while the chicken breast will help you with your protein goals. I personally love getting food here!

Got here around 6pm on a Sunday and there was a short line. It is a quick service build your own bowl place but with an Asian twist. You get to pick your base (rice, salad, or mix of both), five toppings (each additional topping is $0.5 I believe), dressing, and your choice of meat (bulgogi, chicken breast, teriyaki chicken, kimchi pork, tofu and mushrooms). You can also choose to add fried egg at the end for additional charge. Everything is pretty good just wish they use slightly higher quality of meat. They also have ramen and hot stone bibimbap!

:: Food :: I ordered the Chef's Choice and it was packed with flavor, the beef bulgogi and kimchi pork was well seasoned. I was looking at the toppings that they had and the corn looked so good, thankfully it was included in the Chef's Choice. :: Service :: Customer service was good, the lady that was assembling the bowl took less than 2 minutes to finish. She was also nice enough to ask if I wanted a runny egg or a fully cooked one. It is like a Chipotle where you can build your own customized bowl or order from their signature bowls. I just thought it would have been better if their proteins and toppings had lids on top since everything is pre-cooked.

Mixabowl is a Korean fast casual spot and the store is located in the Promenade area of The Shops at Santa Anita. I am certainly not the first person saying this, but this is pretty much a Korean version of Chipotle. [Parking]: Good luck trying to find and fight over parking spots in The Shops at Santa Anita. [Ordering & menu]: Either order from one of seven signature bowls, two Korean sizzling dishes, or customized bowl (base + toppings + sauce + BBQ for $9.75). Once customers finish their bowls, then they can return their trays right next to the utensil section (above trash can). *** Chef's Choice (bulgogi beef and kimchi pork [half portion], sesame peanut and Sriracha mayo sauce, fried egg, seaweed, corn, bean sprout, cucumber pickle, salad, and brown rice - $10.57): This bowl apparently won the Best Korean BBQ Bowl of 2017. It was easy enough to order a pre-customized bowl and overall the bowl was pretty solid. I could argue some ingredients made this bowl slightly too salty, but it was still a healthy bowl with right amount of portion. *** This is one of those places I would visit more frequently if it locates closer to my workplace due to (1) healthy options and (2) convenience. Not a perfect bowl, but it's all about the right targeted audience.
